To help you set your final lineup, here are the players who be playing and won’t be playing in Week 2 of the fantasy football season.
Guys Who Will Play:
QB Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers - After missing Week 1 with a rib injury, Newton will be back under center this Sunday.
RB Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Martin may still be listed as questionable with a knee injury, but he will be able to play this week.
RB Andre Ellington, Arizona Cardinals - Ellington will be active today despite his lingering foot injury.
WR Kenny Stills, New Orleans Saints - Stills has been questionable all week with a quad injury, but he will be ready to go this week.
Guys Who Won’t Play:
QB Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals - Palmer will miss this week’s game with a shoulder injury. Drew Stanton will start in his place.
RB Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings – Peterson will not play this week after a much-publicized child abuse scandal.
RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Oakland Raiders – MJD will not be on the field this week, as he continues to be bothered by a nagging hand injury.
WR Wes Welker, Denver Broncos - Welker will not play this week, as the league has yet to reach a settlement about the new drug policy.
TE Jordan Cameron, Cleveland Browns - Cameron will not play this week after re-injuring his shoulder in Week 1.
Game-Time Decision:
WR Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears - Marshall (ankle) is still a game-time call for Sunday night, but it doesn’t look like he is going to play.
WR Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears – Jeffery (hamstring) is also highly unlikely to play on primetime tonight.
