Week 3 of the fantasy football season has several outstanding performances, but even more disappointing performances. Several teams under utilized some of their stars or completely ignored them in their respective gameplans, making fantasy owners pull their hair out. These 10 players were the biggest fantasy duds in Week 3.

After a breakout performance against Miami in Week 2, Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins was all but non-existent against San Diego. Watkins was targeted eight times in the game, but finished with just two catches for 19 yards.

After having a productive game against Seattle Seahawks' Richard Sherman in Week 2, San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen was a non-factor against the Buffalo Bills. Allen was targeted twice against the Bills, and finished with two catches for 17 yards.

For the second time in three games, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald acted primarily as a decoy. Against the San Francisco 49ers, Fitzgerald was targeted seven times, but recorded only three receptions for 34 yards.

San Francisco abandoned their running game against Arizona, and Frank Gore was the biggest casualty. Gore recorded just six carries against the Cardinals' stout defense, finishing with 10 yards on the ground.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb had a favorable matchup against a depleted Detroit Lions secondary, but failed to take advantage of a golden opportunity. Cobb was targeted six times against the Lions, but only came up with three catches for a mere 29 yards.

Antonio Gates recorded three touchdowns last week against the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, but was shut down by Buffalo yesterday. Gates was targeted just once and gained just eight yards on his only catch.

Green Bay's running game has not gotten off to a good start, and the biggest victim of their struggles is Eddie Lacy. Against Detroit, Lacy had a critical fumble early in the game which was returned for a touchdown. Lacy was benched, lost some playing time to James Starks, and finished with 45 yards on 12 touches with 36 coming on the ground.

Facing an underrated New York Giants defense, Andre Johnson was shut down yesterday. Johnson was targeted 11 times by Ryan Fitzpatrick, but only came up with four catches for 24 yards.

Denver's Montee Ball had a rough outing in their Super Bowl rematch with Seattle. Ball fumbled on his first carry and lost snaps to backups C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman. Ball gained 44 yards on 16 touches, but only gained 38 yards rushing on 14 carries.

In Philadelphia's 37-34 victory over Washington, running back LeSean McCoy touched the ball 21 times and gained just 22 yards, all on the ground. McCoy had a bad matchup against a Redskins defense that was ranked No. 1 overall in run defense.
