Picking the perfect fantasy football lineup for FanDuel can be tricky. You want to find a good mix of reliable players, with some sneakier options other 'FanDuelers' aren't likely to select. A TD from a player who everyone else in your competition chose does you no good. Here is the perfect mix of players to make you that money in Week 5.
The Lions' defense and special teams average the fifth most points per game thus far, and the unit is facing a mediocre Kyle Orton in his first start with the Buffalo Bills. I have no idea why Detroit is priced so low in Week 5, but take advantage of it.
Kickers are nearly impossible to predict based on matchup, so just roll with a good one on a good offense. Bryant plays for the high-scoring Atlanta Falcons, and the only kick he's missed this season was from 59 yards out.
Kelce is not going to be priced as low as he is for long. Andy Reid has finally made the talented pass catcher a focus of the offense. Last Monday against the New England Patriots, Kelce caught eight of nine targets for 93 yards with a TD.
Every FanDuel lineup should shoot for a good QB/WR or QB/TE combo, and this is the perfect week to take a chance on Glennon and Vincent Jackson. With a career quarterback rating of 84.1, Glennon is better than most people think. The fact that stud safety Jairus Byrd is out for the New Orleans Saints should give him a boost. With Mike Evans out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a lot of deep targets to Jackson can be expected.
Tate is a steal this week at his price. If Calvin Johnson plays, he won't be at full strength. Tate should get plenty of targets against a mediocre Buffalo Bills' pass defense. Marshall is as healthy as he's been since the beginning of the season. He should have a great game against a surprisingly weak Carolina Panthers' pass defense.
The savings on players like Glennon and Tate get rewarded here. Bernard is a must-have in Week 5. The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off a bye, and they're facing a New England Patriots D that was humiliated by the Chiefs running backs. Murray is the highest scoring running back in fantasy football, and he's facing the Houston Texans' subpar run defense.
