In Week 6 on Thursday Night Football, two AFC South teams will be squaring off as the 3-2 Indianapolis Colts will be on the road facing the 3-2 Houston Texans with first place on the line. The Colts’ defense has been playing better in their three straight victories, while the Texans’ offense as started to sputter a bit with RB Arian Foster having a lingering hamstring injury.

When you think of the Texans’ WRs, Andre Johnson is the first to come into your mind, but second-year wideout DeAndre Hopkins has proved to be a great draft pick for the Texans. In 2013, Hopkins had a very nice rookie season despite poor QB play, as he had 52 catches for 802 yards with two touchdown catches.

In his sophomore season, Hopkins has been even better so far with 24 catches in five games for 354 yards receiving and already has three touchdown catches. Johnson has yet to find the end zone this season, as he is still playing well but is dealing with an ankle injury, so the Texans have been relying on Hopkins more.

The Colts are currently ranked 20th in passing defense, but sadly for Hopkins’ fantasy value, his QB Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t played very well this season. On the short week with his ankle not at 100 percent, Johnson has a questionable tag on him, so Hopkins may get targeted a bit more.

Going against what simply isn’t a very good Colts defense, Hopkins should be able to have a very nice game for his fantasy football owners. He should have no problem catching at least five passes for 80 yards, and as a red zone threat, he should also be able to grab a touchdown catch in the rivalry game.
