Knowshon Moreno Fantasy Football Week 6 Projection
Knowshon Moreno is healing from a dislocated elbow quicker than expected. This means one thing to you — he could help your fantasy football team sooner, as well.
All week he has been limited in practice for theMiami Dolphins. Even if he can’t go on Sunday, the Miami Dolphins’ run game will be more than capable with Lamar Miller and that offensive line; especially against an inferior run defense of the Green Bay Packers, which ranks last in the entire NFL. Hypothetically speaking, let’s say Moreno plays this week.
In his first game of the season, Moreno carried the ball 24 times for 134 yards and even added a touchdown. After that, owners were beyond excited about his potential in the Dolphins’ offense. Those exciting thoughts quickly turned into disappointment in Week 2 once Moreno left the game.
Week 6 would be an ideal matchup for the Miami running back. Green Bay has been gashed by running backs all year. That should continue, especially if Moreno can complement Miller as he eases back into the rotation. Miller has done an admirable job in his backfield mate’s absence.
The only thing holding me back from starting Moreno, besides his questionable availability, is his workload. The Miami coaching staff may want to keep his workload at a minimum until he shows that he is 100 percent. If he plays, he definitely has value in deeper leagues or as a bye player replacement.
Projection: 60 total yards and one touchdown
