With a return to practice after sitting out last week due to injury, Teddy Bridgewater should be back to playing again in Week 6. The Minnesota Vikings quarterback has been dealing with a slight ankle injury that ended up not being too serious after all. As the Vikings are heading into a tough game this week against the Detroit Lions, Bridgewater should be able to have a decent outing in his return to the lineup.

Since his ankle sprain wasn’t really severe anyway, fantasy owners should expect a good game out of Bridgewater. While it’s not expected that the Vikings will actually beat the Lions this week, Bridgewater does give them the best chance to win and should have a pretty good game scoring a decent amount of fantasy points.

Fantasy owners should consider putting Bridgewater in as their QB2 option this week as he’s fully healed and ready to go. While he won’t really put up big numbers like most QB1 options, he should still be able to add some fantasy points to your team via a touchdown or more in this matchup.

During his return to practice this week, Bridgewater wasn’t bothered at all by his sprained ankle and his overall routine was said to be fine. This bodes well to actually give the Vikings a chance to beat the Lions, and who knows; maybe he will have a big game if everything starts to gel right early on.

Overall, fantasy owners should expect Bridgewater to make some noise this week. If the Vikings pull a big upset over the Lions, it will be due to a solid performance out of their future franchise quarterback.

Fantasy Football Week 6 Projection: 23-for-35, 238 passing yards, 40 rushing yards, 1 touchdown, 0 interceptions
