Peyton Manning Fantasy Football Week 7 Projection
You don’t bench Peyton Manning. For Manning fantasy football owners out there, it is really simple — Manning is historically one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the league and he isn’t too shabby in fantasy either. Manning was the best fantasy football player in history last season and he has had similar success in 2014, despite not putting up the same touchdown numbers. Although Manning has a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, the chances of him having a good game are higher than him having a bad game.
The Denver Broncos are an offensive juggernaut. Led by Manning with weapons like Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker and Emmanuel Sanders, there is no questioning the talent of this offense. Given that the 49ers have one of the league’s stingiest run defenses, the Broncos will look to establish the pass before running the football. That means Manning will have a ton of opportunities early for some good first-half production. Another thing to remember is Manning is two touchdowns away from breaking Brett Favre‘s record for most touchdowns in the history of the NFL.
While the 49ers will be a tough matchup for the Broncos, this game has the makings of a shootout and that is great news for Manning fantasy owners, who is arguably the best offensive player in the league. Manning will score at least three touchdowns and throw for over 300 yards. It’s really that simple.
Week 7 fantasy football projection: 31 completions out of 44 passes for 355 passing yards and three touchdowns.
