Andrew Luck Fantasy Football Week 7 Projection
Plenty of owners everywhere have been enjoying quarterback Andrew Luck as a steady contributor to their fantasy football team. He’s been flat out unstoppable so far this season and has been getting even better with each passing week. Last week, despite an interception against the Houston Texans, he was 25 for 44 with 370 yards and three touchdowns — talk about lighting up fantasy leagues everywhere with a huge amount of points to start the football week via Thursday Night Football. What should fantasy owners expect this week when his Indianapolis Colts face the upcoming Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7 action?
Considering this could very well be the breakout year everyone was waiting to see with Luck, he should continue having some pretty big games, especially at home. Even though the Bengals play some all around good football, the comfort level favors Luck since he’s in his home stadium. Luck should be able to continue carving up defensive secondaries like there is no tomorrow.
Owners should absolutely have Luck as their QB1 or QB2 option at best, considering how well he’s been doing these past few weeks. Make no mistake about it, Luck is a man on a mission trying to make sure he continues to put his team in a position to win by outscoring opponents consistently.
Not only does Luck make big plays through the air, but he also has a very keen sense of abilities when it comes to playing under pressure in dire situations. He’s been known to take the football into his own hands, running for either a first down or doing what he can to avoid a sack.
Luck knows what it takes to make sure he doesn’t make any mental mistakes when it comes to his abilities to make plays out of the pocket. He’s dangerous both through the air and on the ground.
Overall, expect a solid game by Luck as he should be able to put up plenty of points in this matchup at home. Fantasy owners should continue to keep him in their lineup because quite honestly, the best has yet to come.
Week 7 Projection: 30 for 42, 368 yards, three touchdowns, one interception
