The Cowboys were projected to be one of the worst defenses in the league this season, but they’ve actually been a pretty solid group this year, even if it hasn’t completely translated to fantasy. Possibly going up against Colt McCoy or even the struggling Kirk Cousins and Washington, you have to be intrigued by the Dallas D.

Obviously this is another good matchup against Oakland for the Browns here, but that’s not everything considering they just let the Jags put up 24 on them. If you’re desperate for defense this week, though, there could be a few turnovers to hang your hat on from the Browns.

The defense in Green Bay has seen a resurgence as of the past few weeks and they are going to have a chance to face a wounded team this week. With Jimmy Graham hurt still and the Saints looking un-Saints-like, the Packers could have a nice game in week eight.

The Texans have the best defensive player on the planet, but they haven’t been consistent on that side of the ball. However, against a Titans team whose offense has been less-than-stellar of late, you have to imagine some sacks and turnovers on the docket for this week.

The Dolphins have quietly been a really good defensive team this year, reaching great heights against a talented Bears offense last week. Now up against the Jaguars in week eight, you have to like the Dolphins to put up a solid week at the lest in fantasy.
