The fantasy football playoffs are only a few weeks away and it is critical to make the correct decisions regarding players who could make or break your chances of making the postseason. This Week 10 list offers three quarterbacks, three wide receivers, three running backs and one tight end who should definitely be starting on fantasy squads this week. All fantasy statistical references are based on standard league scoring.

The Steelers quarterback has been on an insane two-game streak, throwing 12 touchdowns combined in the last two outings. He struggled prior to those past two contests, but stick with the hot hand and start him this week when he plays against the Jets. New York’s defense ranks last in the NFL in points allowed to quarterbacks.

The leading candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year thus far has a great matchup against Philadelphia on Monday night. The Eagles rank 29th in fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers and that certainly won’t change with the talented Benjamin coming to town.

The Cardinals quarterback has had a phenomenal season when he’s been on the field, with 16 points being the lowest total he’s posted this season. This week, he goes against the Rams, who rank 26th in the NFL in points allowed to opposing quarterbacks this season.

The Jaguars running back has been an absolute stud in recent weeks and if you were lucky enough to grab him off the waiver wire earlier in the season, he’s a must-start this week. He faces the Dallas Cowboys who have given up a total of 48.9 points the past two weeks combined to running backs.

Fitzgerald had a disastrous start to the season and was possibly even dropped by many fantasy owners, but he’s had a few solid games in recent weeks. He plays against the St. Louis Rams at home on Sunday, who he’s destroyed throughout his career and ranks 26th in points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season.

He’s been as inconsistent as it gets this season, but Donnell needs to be starting this week based on his matchup against Seattle. The Seahawks surprisingly have given up a huge amount of points to tight ends this season and rank 30th in the league in that department.

The new starting running back for the Broncos is a must-start this week against division rival Oakland. The Raiders just gave up two scores to Marshawn Lynch last week and have been downright awful against the run throughout this season, as they rank 31st in the league in points allowed to running backs.

3. Percy Harvin

One of the biggest question marks on this list, Harvin should have a solid outing Sunday against the Steelers. Mike Vick is starting for the Jets again and last week Harvin registered 11 receptions for 129 yards against Kansas City, who is ranked ninth in the league in points allowed to receivers.

2. Bobby Rainey

With starting running back Doug Martin doubtful for Sunday’s matchup against the Falcons, Rainey should be starting for his fantasy owners. The Falcons have allowed the most points in the NFL to opposing running backs this season and Rainey should get the bulk of the touches.

This selection may surprise some people, but Sanchez should be starting in fantasy leagues when he takes on the Carolina Panthers. He fared very well in backup duty last week against the Texans. A week of preparation as the No. 1 quarterback for the Eagles this week will have him even more ready, as he plays against the 25th-rated defense in terms of points allowed to quarterbacks.
