Giordano was a very popular defender in drafts this fall, but no one expected him to produce like this. Gio has amassed 15 points (4 G/11 A) on the year and is currently ranked ahead of several first round picks through the first four weeks.

4. RW Tyler Toffoli, Los Angeles Kings

After racking up a meager 29 points in 62 games in 2013, Toffoli has been on fire this year. He has 17 points in 15 games and has thrived with the King’s second line.

3. C Brock Nelson, New York Islanders

Nelson has matured tremendously this season. He has already racked up 14 points on the year and the 23-year-old has continuously produced from the team’s third line. He has been one of the best waiver wire pickups so far this season.

2. LW Filip Forsberg, Nashville Predators

The Preds are red-hot this season and the main contributor offensively has been Forsberg. The 20-year-old rookie shockingly has 15 points (6 G/9 A) through 14 games, including eight points in the last five games alone. He is well on his way to hoisting the Calder Trophy at the end of the year.

1. LW Rick Nash, New York Rangers

Nash dealt with concussion symptoms for most of last year, and as a result, he was widely considered a potential bust. He is healthy this year, though, and has once again looked like an All-Star. He has 13 points in 12 games, including nine goals last month alone.
