One of the most intriguing aspects of fantasy football is the different roles that players can serve on your roster. There are your studs, the plug-and-play guys, the streaming starters, and so on. However, there are times when even your stars are hard to rely on. Here are 10 players that fit that bill for week 11.

10. Andre Johnson

Johnson is going to get work almost no matter what in the Texans’ offense, but Ryan Mallett is his quarterback this week. We don’t know how that’s going to work out and the gamble should leave you looking for better options.

This extends further back than Week 11, but the Seattle D hasn’t been the vaunted defense of yesteryear almost all season. Against a Chiefs team that just finds ways to score, it’s hard to bank on the Seahawks.

8. Larry Fitzgerald

Remember when people were talking earlier this season about Fitzgerald maybe being done? Drew Stanton was his quarterback for a large part of that. That’s enough to make you hesitant to start the Cards wideout.

7. Lamar Miller

Miller is probable for the Thursday night game against Buffalo, but he doesn’t look healthy at all. With his health and running ability in question against a good Bills defense, he needs to be on your bench.

6. Ben Tate

Not only is the Browns offensive line completely hapless without Alex Mack centering it, but Tate is part of a three-man timeshare now. Though he’s done nothing but produce when healthy, it’s too risky to start him.

5. Vernon Davis

Davis has been injured much of this season, but he’s also been a non-factor when healthy. Forget about the name recognition on this one and don’t play the 49ers tight end this week.

4. Bobby Rainey

Rainey has been nothing but a force when he has gotten substantial work this season. However, with three running backs now healthy in Tampa Bay, it’s hard to know what they’ll do with the carries in the offense. Given that, you shouldn’t bank on Rainey or any other Buccaneers back.

3. Reggie Wayne

Wayne has been decent this season with some big moments here and there. I like Luck to have a big game, but the stout Patriots secondary should have Wayne locked down for much of this game. Bench him.

2. Jay Cutler

This is a tough one because I still think Cutler is talented and he clearly has a ton of talent around him. However, you can’t trust him given what he’s shown as of late. As a result, put him on the bench.

1. Reggie Bush

For how good the Lions have been, they haven’t been able to run the ball effectively. Moreover, it looks like Bush isn’t even their first receiving option out of the backfield anymore. Looking at that, he’s not startable at this point, especially considering his health issues.

*Update: Bush will not play on Sunday vs. the Cardinals
