Alfred Blue sure has been making headlines in fantasy football circles as of late. The Houston Texans running back has done a nice job filling in for the injured Arian Foster, as last week he ran for 156 yards on 36 carries and sealed a victory over the Cleveland Browns. What should fantasy owners expect out of Blue as he prepares to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12 action?

Considering that Blue had a field day against the Browns, it’s safe to see he will also see a heavy workload against the Bengals. Fantasy owners should absolutely start him since the Bengals have a tough time stopping the run and even though there is a possibility Foster might be in the lineup back from injury, Blue will still get the majority of reps.

As a strong RB2 or even flex option this week, Blue is in line to match or even succeed his previous fantasy points from last week. Even though he didn’t score a touchdown, Blue proved that he could ultimately be the successor to Foster once he decides to hang it up for good.

They always say confidence breeds success as not only Blue is filled with it but also his coaches. The organization is confident that with his skills on offense, they can continue to do their best to continue winning football games and make a serious push towards the NFL Playoffs. Needless to say, fantasy owners should acquire him since he will only get better over time and especially with all the playing time coming his way.

Overall, make sure to start Blue this week since many predict he could have a pretty big game against the Bengals. It’s a nice way to transition from one solid running back to one of the future that looks like he’s the real deal, so if you actually have Foster and Blue in your fantasy lineup, you will reap many benefits this week.
