NFL FanDuel Week 16 Bargain: RB Jeremy Hill

Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati Bengals, Fantasy Football Week 9

Rookie sensation Jeremy Hill is certainly seeing an increase in his FanDuel price tag thanks to a phenomenal 26-point performance last week, but the Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate is still listed at a bargain price of $7,300. He’s averaging over 11 points per game this season, and after the Cincinnati Bengals‘ 30-0 upending of the Cleveland Browns last week with Hill, expect more of the same from him this week against the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos rank in the top five RB defenses, but don’t let that be the only light that you shine on them; the Broncos aren’t especially strong against the run game in losses. I’m expecting the Bengals to go ground and pound once again this week, hoping to repeat the success they found last week for a playoff push. Between Hill and Giovani Bernard, they totaled 40 carries — Hill receiving a full workload of 25 touches and averaged nearly six yards a carry.

The Bengals are starting to put great faith in their young running back. Hill was in on 62.6 percent of offensive plays, and there’s no reason why they will lose faith and give him less attention after his dominating performance. And this isn’t just a one time stint; Hill had already topped 20 points earlier this season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This isn’t to say that Hill will have as dominating of a performance, but you can expect him to tease the coveted 20-point mark by scoring at least once and plowing for over 100 yards on the ground. His price tag may seem high in comparison to other players, but his ratio of points to cost will be one of the best for running backs this week.
