Building the Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup for Jan. 6

Building the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup is a difficult chore, so I hope this helps you out. Keep in mind that the NBA can be tricky on DFS sites, considering there are many "game-time decisions" and random days off to worry about. Always double-check to ensure all these players are scheduled to play as expected.

Brandon Jennings is on a roll since Josh Smith went to Houston and is coming off of a monster 50-fantasy-point performance. The PG spot is underwhelming on this two game slate, so Jennings could easily end up the top producer against the San Antonio Spurs who will likely give their stars a bit of rest.

Brandon Knight has an ideal matchup conducive to fantasy gold being the lone consistent scoring option against the fast paced and high flying Phoenix Suns. Knight's fantasy points per game average is now almost 31 (30.8) which means he hits 5x value without a particular brilliant performance, yet has 40-plus upside which pulverizes value.
SG - Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee Bucks - $6,300

Giannis "Alphabet" Antetokounmpo is maddeningly inconsistent at times and is a much more appealing option to me in GPP than cash games most nights, but it is hard to ignore his upside with only two games to chose from. Hope for his 30-plus upside, and that he does not have one of his ten fantasy point duds. He should be fine against the Suns as those guys play a brand of painfully mediocre defense (18th ranked) against the SG.
SG -Eric Bledsoe - Phoenix Suns - $8,900

The Phoenix Suns play three guards who all can pretty much do the same things at the point or two but Eric Bledsoe is undoubtedly the top dog so do not allow Isaiah Thomas' presence in their rotation scare you away. Bledsoe has been scoring the ball with utter ease lately and has been seeing 30 minutes which makes it nearly impossible for him to give you a dud.
SF - Khris Middleton - Milwaukee Bucks - $4,900

The Milwaukee Bucks are playing some good basketball considering they are the Milwaukee Bucks and many so called NBA "fans" don't even realize that they are just a game behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for the fifth-seed in the Eastern Conference. Khris Middleton is starting and finally seeing reliable minutes again so he can essentially be guaranteed to hit 20 as a floor, but undoubtedly has 35-point upside any given contest.
SF - Gerald Green - Phoenix Suns - $4,900

Gerald Green is often overlooked on bigger slates but don't be fooled by his low ownership percentages, he can be a tremendous fantasy option as long as he gets adequate tick. Adequate tick he has indeed been getting lately, as he has seen over 20 minutes in five straight games and has either crushed or hit 5x value on each occasion. Take him for a test drive on this small slate and see for yourself.

Tim Duncan is going to show Greg Monroe what being the "big fundamental" is all about with a huge performance. I do not love his price as he has to exceed 40 fantasy points to hit 5x value, but he is a safe bet to hit 35 granted that the Detroit Pistons can stick around in this tough road matchup.

Markieff Morris for me is that guy who every time I play or recommend playing him lays a putrid smelling egg, but I am going back to the well regardless, mainly because who the else is there to chose from these four teams?

Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders essentially claimed he didn't want to play basketball anymore to the front office earlier today. And Zaza Pachulia, deep down, rejoiced as he knew right then and there he will continue to see 25-30 minutes per game. He's essentially a point-per-minute fantasy option as a floor, and has two consecutive double-doubles where he crushed value with around 35 fantasy points.
