Building the Perfect NBA DraftKings Lineup for Jan. 21

Building the perfect NBA DraftKings lineup is a difficult chore, so I hope this helps you out. Keep in mind that the NBA can be tricky on DFS sites, considering there are many "game-time decisions" and random days off to worry about. Always double-check to ensure that all of these players are scheduled to play as expected.

With LaMarcus Aldridge projected to miss the Portland Trail Blazers' matchup with the Phoenix Suns in Arizona, PG Damian Lillard will have to be relied on as their top scorer along with his normal facilitating duties. Phoenix plays a fast-paced, high-scoring style of basketball, along with a brand of "defense comes second" defense. Lillard should exceed 40 fantasy points.
7. SG - Kyle Korver - Atlanta Hawks - $5,100

Against the Indiana Pacers, who play at a pace slower than molasses, the Atlanta Hawks will likely have to get a fair amount of outside scoring. This sets up perfectly -- particularly on DraftKings (.5 point bonus) -- for Kyle Korver, who will undoubtedly get a few more looks than he would otherwise.

Dallas Mavericks' and Minnesota Timberwolves' games are typically incredibly high scoring, so playing against each other should lead to an outrageous amount of fantasy production for each teams' players. Andrew Wiggins in simply Minnesota's biggest scoring threat and shouldn't have much trouble whether he matches up against Monta Ellis at the two or Chandler Parsons on the wing.
5. PF - Greg Monroe - Detroit Pistons - $8,100

The Orlando Magic rank 21st in fantasy points allowed against PFs, and Greg Monroe dominates at home, giving him some added appeal. Against Kyle O'Quinn and Channing Frye, Monroe should be on his way to another 20-point, 10-rebound plus adequate tertiary statistical production.
4. C - Omer Asik - New Orleans Pelicans - $4,600

Always pick on the Los Angeles Lakers in fantasy basketball, not only at the PG spot, but also their bigs. Although Jordan Hill is a solid player, the Lakers rank 26th at allowing fantasy points to the center position. Anthony Davis will return from injury, but don't let that assuage your temptation for firing up C Omer Asik in this matchup.
3. G - Courtney Lee - Memphis Grizzlies - $4,000

Courtney Lee is not going to overwhelm, but he should be a given for 20 fantasy points against the Toronto Raptors, who will pay far more attention to defending Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol in the frontcourt. Lee is simply one of the safest value plays on this slate.
2. F - Chandler Parsons - Dallas Mavericks - $5,900

The Dallas Mavericks are going to produce a ton of fantasy points against the Minnesota Timberwolves, so don't miss out. Chandler Parsons has his fantasy point per game average up to 28, which is essentially five times value at his affordable $ 5,900 price tag. Fire Parsons up as one of the best mid-tier options of the evening.
1. Util - Trey Burke - Utah Jazz - $5,600

The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team in turmoil lately, and although Kyrie Irving is known for his defense, it's unfortunately for it being non-existent most nights. The Utah Jazz will stay around in this one for three quarters at minimum, so Trey Burke should see adequate tick at the PG. Burke has stepped up his scoring on the floor since Utah lost Alec Burks to injury which gives him some added appeal.
