Building the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup is a difficult chore, so I hope this helps you out. Keep in mind that the NBA can be tricky on DFS sites, considering there are many "game-time decisions" and random days off to worry about. Always double-check to ensure all these players are scheduled to play as expected.

The NBA has announced both games that were to take place in NYC have been canceled due to the blizzard. With $ 6,900 in cap space, the best replacement I could identify is Elfrid Payton of the Orlando Magic for $ 6,000.

This Orlando Magic vs. Memphis Grizzlies contest is far more conducive to fantasy gold than it appears at initial glance. Its over/under is over 200 and the Magic are no pushovers despite their losing record. However, they give up a ton of production to opponents on offense, particularly at PG (27th), which sets up Mike Conley for a big evening.

I don't love the fact that the New Orleans Pelicans host the putrid Phildelphia 76ers, as this game could be over early. However, New Orleans is majorly short-staffed -- and not incredibly deep to begin with -- which should keep its starters in this game throughout all four quarters. Tyreke Evans has been stellar since moving to the PG in Jrue Holiday's absence and should be good for 30 fantasy points at the least.

Although the Memphis Grizzlies are often known as impregnable defensive juggernauts, this is simply not the case at the SG spot as they are 24th in the NBA at allowing fantasy production to opposing SGs. Victor Oladipo simply looks the part at the two instead of running the point -- and carries a high floor of 25 FP -- along with 40-plus upside in favorable matchups like Memphis.

Wilson Chandler is easily the pick I have the least confidence in for cash game purposes as he will provide you with a 15 fantasy point heartbreaker occasionally. However, for ,550, he should be good for 25 fantasy points in this one against the Los Angeles Clippers as there will be a plethora of fantasy production coming out of this defensively deprived contest. Settle for the 25, and do the Macarena if he hits his 35-plus upside.

Gordon Hayward, similarly to Wilson Chandler, can lay a fantasy egg once in a while. However, this season, his bad performances seem to still exceed 20 fantasy points which isn't an absolutely devastating floor at ,400 opposed to the 10-15 he would drop last season. The Utah Jazz vs. Boston Celtics is an interesting matchup in the trenches, which leads me to believe Hayward is going to get extra looks on the wing.

I will continue to be on the J.J. Hickson fantasy bandwagon until if/when he starts to hover around ,000. But, for ,900, anyone playing around 25 minutes a night who can double-double in that time frame with utter ease is clearly a high-floor, high-ceiling option. Blake Griffin's motto clearly is 'buckets up, everything else down,' so Hickson should benefit with some extra opportunities on the glass.

With Kelly Olynyk down for the Boston Celtics, Brandon Bass will continue to see adequate tick for fantasy purposes and he's done well with the opportunity he's been given. Whether he plays C or PF, Bass is going to have a competitive matchup on the glass against the Utah Jazz's Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter and Rudy Gobert. Thus, I would not expect him to go insane, but he'll give you a solid floor regardless.

While Nikola Vucevic is undoubtedly proving himself as a top-five NBA center this season, the Orlando Magic still rank just 25th in the NBA at allowing fantasy production to the position. Marc Gasol is one of the most consistent fantasy option in the league night-in and night-out and typically hits 45-50 fantasy points in favorable matchups. Don't miss out.
