To help you pick your fantasy foursome this week, here are five fantasy golfers to avoid during the 2015 Northern Trust Open.

Merrick won this event in 2013, and like most former champions, he will likely be a popular late-round sleeper in deeper formats. However, the veteran has played horribly so far this season, as he has only made the cut twice in nine appearances this season.

4. Charles Howell III

Howell is drawing some attention this week in fantasy circles, especially since he won this event back in 2007. However, Chuckie 3 Sticks hasn't cracked the top-50 since that win and he has missed the cut four different times.

3. Luke Donald

Donald may have a solo third place finish on his European resume this season, but he has been unable to get things going stateside. The Englishman has yet to crack the top-40, and he has missed his cut in his last two tournament appearances.

2. Gary Woodland

Woodland is normally a decent third golfer to grab in deeper formats, but he has hit a bit of a wall this winter. He missed the cut at the Phoenix Open and posted a T45 at the Farmers Insurance Open. Even worse, he has never cracked the top-65 on at Riviera.

1. Keegan Bradley

Bradley has only cracked the top-40 once in his last three tournament appearances, which was a T17 at the Phoenix Open in the middle of January. Keegs is seriously struggling right now, and he will likely disappear in the large field heading to Riviera.
