Building The Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup For Mar.1

Looking to start the month of March off with some fantasy basketball success on FanDuel? Join me in building the perfect lineup for this evening slate.
9. PG - Steph Curry - Golden State Warriors - $10,000

With Russell Westbrook out for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Steph Curry clearly becomes the ideal high-priced play on this six-game slate considering the Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics contest currently carries a 215 point over/under -- far higher than any other game available. Boston gives up a ton of points, so Curry should feast on Marcus Smart and Isaiah Thomas.
8. PG - D.J. Augustin - Oklahoma City Thunder - $6,700

With the aforementioned Russell Westbrook out to go along with Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City absolutely needs a stellar spot start from D.J. Augustin if the Thunder want to beat even this substandard Los Angeles Lakers squad in L.A. Augustin filled in admirably for Brandon Jennings and the Detroit Pistons before being traded at the deadline, and he proved that when called upon to score in droves he will answer.
7. SG - Eric Gordon - New Orleans Pelicans - $6,300

For as long as the trio of Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson are out for the New Orleans Pelicans, I will be firing up Eric Gordon with confidence as New Orleans is simply desperate for scoring from him and Tyreke Evans. The Denver Nuggets are a bit of a disaster currently and give up a ton of points no matter where they play.
6. SG - Avery Bradley - Boston Celtics - $5,700

On any given night, Avery Bradley and Evan Turner of the Boston Celtics could far exceed value. But rarely do they do so on the same slate, which makes it hard to know when -- and when not -- to roll the dice on either. Thus, in today's scenario, I went with the cheaper option considering they are both currently only eligible to be rostered at SG on FanDuel despite Turner having moved back to the wing.
5. SF - Rudy Gay - Sacramento Kings - $7,600

With DeMarcus Cousins out, Rudy Gay has 50-point upside in this one. That is all the thought that was necessary.
4. SF - Danilo Gallinari - Denver Nuggets - $5,100

With the Denver Nuggets in shambles, Danillo Gallinari will continue to see between 25 and 34 minutes per game. This gives you an opportunity to save some cap space with a low risk, low reward play good for anywhere between 20-35 fantasy points. Denver's been an unreliable team to target, but adequate SF options -- as usual -- are incredibly limited on this slate.
3. PF - Serge Ibaka - Oklahoma City Thunder - $7,300

Serge Ibaka and the aforementioned D.J. Augustin have no choice but to log big minutes and stack big stats in this one. If they both don't exceed five times value, the entire fantasy basketball community might as well just concede to the fact that there is no good way to predict ideal plays in daily fantasy basketball.
2. PF - David West - Indiana Pacers - $6,400

David West is like the Toyota Corolla of fantasy basketball: He isn't flashy and you won't hear many people discuss or fawn over him, but he's incredibly reliable. Fire West up confidently in this one against the just plain random Philadelphia 76ers.
1. C - Tyler Zeller - Boston Celtics - $4,900

Both Tyler Zeller and Brandon Bass make for good value frontcourt options most nights on FanDuel, considering the Boston Celtics are without Jared Sullinger indefinitely and Kelly Olynyk seemingly more often than not. Zeller's matchup isn't ideal, but he should give you five times value without much of a hassle.
