Top 9 Value Plays For NBA FanDuel On Mar. 4

Finding value plays is paramount in FanDuel fantasy basketball, as the stars you want to play just simply cost far too much to roster unless you save some cap elsewhere. Here's a look at nine that could help you do so this evening.

With both Matt Barnes and Jamal Crawford sitting for the Los Angeles clippers, Doc Rivers and company turn to Jordan Hamilton to spot start at SF. Hamilton's price and position is not currently available on FanDuel, but it's safe to say if he makes it onto this slate, he will be a nice minimum priced option guaranteed to see 20 minutes of play.
8. SF - Luc Richard Mbah a Moute - Philadelphia 76ers

With Robert Covington out, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute projects to see 30 minutes in this one against the Oklahoma City Thunder and should be at an advantage considering OKC is without Kevin Durant.
7. PG - Ray McCallum - Sacramento Kings

As Darren Collison continues to miss time for the Sacramento Kings, fire up Ray McCallum confidently, as he will start, see over 25 minutes, and essentially guarantee you 5x value priced just at $4,200.
6. C - Omer Asik - New Orleans Pelicans

Omer Asik is the anchor of the New Orleans Pelicans' frontcourt currently, as the team is still without Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson. Many will fade Asik against Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons thinking that he builds impregnable defensive walls against opponents. However, nothing can be further from the truth, as Detroit is ranked near the bottom in the NBA at allowing fantasy points to the centers.
5. SG - Alan Anderson - Brooklyn Nets

Alan Anderson isn't a very high point per minute player, but when he starts and sees more than 20 minutes, he's an excellent punt away option at $4,100 in a favorable matchup against the Charlotte Hornets.
4. SG - Jason Richardson - Philadelphia 76ers

Let's keep it real, the Philadelphia 76ers stink. But don't let that undeniable truth assuage your temptation for firing their players up on FanDuel, as anyone in the starting lineup is going to log solid minutes and be asked to do a myriad of tasks, as the team simply has no bench whatsoever. Thus, Jason Richardson is in play this evening if he indeed suits up as expected.
3. PG - Marcus Smart - Boston Celtics

The addition of Isaiah Thomas has not really changed Marcus Smart's role with the Boston Celtics, as he's still seeing 30 minutes of play and starting at PG. On such a big slate, Smart's ownership percentage is going to be low, especially since he's coming off a down performance at first glance. In reality, it was just a product of Boston getting blown out by the Cleveland Cavaliers which rendered him ineffective.
2. PF - Andrea Bargnani - New York Knicks

There isn't much to be excited about when choosing a New York Knick for NBA FanDuel, but Andrea Bargnani has put up a few surprise stat sheets of late, including a 50 fantasy point performance. The Knicks' roster is so incredibly empty currently that Bargnani is essentially their best player (scary thought), so he will be relied on heavily against the Indiana Pacers and David West.
1. SG - J.J. Redick - Los Angeles Clippers

J.J. Redick has logged more than 40 minutes in two of the Los Angeles Clippers' last three games and should do so again against the Portland Trail Blazers, as Los Angeles is without Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes. The minutes he sees, plus the Clippers' current desperation for scoring, make Redick and absolute must play.
