The 2015 fantasy baseball season is right around the corner, and as always, pitching will be crucial to a fantasy team's success. To help you plan for the end of the season, here are five pitchers who will likely see their innings limited this summer.

Wheeler enjoyed a break out season in 2014. The fireballer posted a 3.54 ERA to go along with a 187 K’s in 185.1 innings. He threw a career-high 168 2/3 innings and there are reports New York is worried about his pitch counts. The team will be relying on him heavily this year, but considering he has never hit 170 innings, he likely won’t have his first 200-inning campaign in 2015.

Cole has been a popular young arm for years now, but he has yet to put it all together. He threw only 138 innings in 22 starts, which was a career-high. He has never eclipsed 140 innings in his MLB career, though, so the team will obviously be conservative with their ace again in 2015. Look for him to barely go over 165 innings this summer.

3. Alex Wood, Atlanta Braves

Wood was off to a hot start last spring, but he ended up throwing only 171.2 innings. He made 24 starts and was bounced between the rotation and bullpen all year long. Atlanta will likely start to slow him down once the southpaw hits the 160-inning plateau in 2015.

Unlike Wheeler, New York has claimed that Harvey will have no innings limit this season. It has been 16 months since his Tommy John surgery and he will be a go at the start of the season. Unfortunately, the Mets will likely still keep his overall pitch count under 200 innings in order to keep him fresh for future seasons.

Tanaka came out of the gate on fire in his rookie season. He won 11 of his first 12 starts and fanned 141 batters in 136.1 innings of work. Unfortunately, the ace suffered a partial tear in his UCL and was forced to shut it down for the year. Now Tanaka has said that he feels fine this spring, but the team will likely be very conservative with the international star throughout the 2015 season.
