Owens is an imposing figure on the mound (6-foot-6, 220 pounds) and the southpaw lives in the lower half of the strike zone. He finished the 2014 season with a 17-5 record, 2.94 ERA and 170 K's in 159 innings of work. Owens is the future of Boston's rotation and is almost guaranteed to make his debut in 2015.

4. Jose Berrios, Minnesota Twins

Berrios had made it publicly known that he plans on making the Opening Day roster in 2015. The right-hander made it all the way up to Triple-A last year. He posted a 12-8 record with a 2.78 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 140 K's in 140 innings of work. It is only a matter of time until this kid earns a promotion.

After posting an ERA of 3.10 or less in three straight years, Syndergaard's ERA ballooned up to 4.60 last season in Triple-A. Luckily, it was most likely due to the hitter-friendly environment of the PCL. He also struck out 145 batters in 133 innings. He will join the majors at some point this season, so grab him late and hope for him to bounce back quickly.

2. Aaron Sanchez, Toronto Blue Jays

Sanchez appears to be a lock to make the rotation this season. He had a brief cup of coffee in the bigs last season (33 IP) and proved he could handle the transition. He lives in the high 90's and will be able to miss plenty of bats at the major league level. Sanchez is leading the next wave of young fireballers.

1. Alex Meyer, Minnesota Twins

Meyer is the favorite to capture the fifth spot in Minnesota and the 25-year-old comes with a ton of experience. He posted a respectable 3.52 ERA to go along with a staggering 153 K's in 130.1 innings of work. Meyer is one pitching prospect that will be a must-own this fantasy season.
