The shortstop position is filled with elite players, but there are also a handful of injury risks out there as well. To help you identify the field, here are five shortstops who will be injury risks in the 2015 season.

After playing in at least 157 games in three straight seasons, Castro missed 28 contests in 2014 with a hamstring injury. He has been a rock throughout his career, but considering the talent on the roster and in the far system, Castro must stay healthy this season.

Rollins has notoriously been a rock for fantasy owners. For the first time since 2010, though, he missed significant time. The veteran only played 138 games in 2014, while tying his career low .243 batting average. Rollins will likely bounce back with the move to Los Angeles, but don't expect the 36-year-old to be active all year. I have him playing around 120 games in 2015.

3. Hanley Ramirez, Boston Red Sox

Ramirez will be ranked high this spring and will likely come off the board before the end of the third round. Unfortunately, he has only played one full season in the last four seasons and has become a mainstay on the disabled list. Han-Ram will once again be an injury risk every time he steps out onto the field.

2. Jose Reyes, Toronto Blue Jays

Reyes is a high energy player, so naturally his body takes a toll throughout the season. Unfortunately, he has only played in 145 games once in the last six seasons. The shortstop is starting to slow down, and given his extensive injury history, you can bet Reyes will spend some time on the shelf this year.

Tulo is far and away the top shortstop in all of fantasy. However, he is also the most injury prone. He has missed a staggering 222 games over the last three seasons alone and a DL trip is inevitable for the veteran at this point in his career. Draft Tulo early this year, but don't expect him to play over 140 games.
