The closer position has been a huge question mark in recent seasons. So to help you fill out your bullpen this season, here are 10 closers to avoid drafting in the 2015 fantasy season.

Doolittle was looking like he was going to be a top-10 closer this fantasy season. He 22 games last year to go along with a 0.73 WHIP and 12.78 K/9. Unfortunately, he had to have shoulder surgery right before the start of spring training and there is no official timetable for his return. He will likely be back before the All-Star break, but the uncertainty surrounding the injury Doolittle too risky of a pick in 2015.

McGee put up outstanding numbers in 2014. He struck out 90 batters in 70.1 innings of work to go along with 1.89 ERA and 0.90 WHIP. However, he only racked up 19 saves last year and he has never occupied the ninth inning before. He is still extremely unproven, and considering the high turnover rate at the position, it wouldn't be wise to reach for McGee this spring.

3. Fernando Rodney, Seattle Mariners

Rodney shocked the world by saving 48 games in 2014, which was tops in the majors. However, he did have an embarrassing 1-6 record to go along with a 2.65 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. He also walked 28 batters in only 66.1 innings of work. Rodney will take a step back in 2015, so don't pay for last year's numbers.

Allen took over the closer role in Cleveland last season midway through the season and he ran away with it. He racked up 24 saves down the stretch, while posting a 2.07 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. However, Allen is currently being drafted inside the top-10 this spring, which is too high for my taste. It would be better to go with a more experienced closer this season.

Rosenthal saved 45 games in 2014 and has been ranked within the top-five in many instances. However, his numbers aren't overly flashy. He blew six saves last season, including one costly game in the postseason. He also had a rather unimpressive 3.20 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. The bottom line is that Rosenthal won't be worth reaching for this spring.
