Building the Perfect NFL DraftKings Lineup for Wild Card Round

Join me in building the perfect NFL DraftKings fantasy football lineup for the Wild Card round.

QB - Russell Wilson - Seattle Seahawks - $7,000

Now that Marshawn Lynch has been ruled out, Russell Wilson projects to exceed value against Minnesota despite the inclement weather that's expected. Fire up Wilson expecting a monster game.

RB - Christine Michael - Seattle Seahawks - $4,400

The absence of Marshawn Lynch means Christine Michael will draw the start at running back for Seattle against Minnesota. The Vikings have been solid against the run this season, but Michael will receive enough carries to exceed value even if he's held somewhat in check.

RB - Eddie Lacy - Green Bay Packers - $4,500

As much as I dislike the idea of relying on Eddie Lacy for anything this season, he's impossible to ignore priced at just $4,500.

WR - Antonio Brown - Pittsburgh Steelers - $9,600

Antonio Brown had the best season of any wide receiver available on the slate, and he projects to do more of the same in the playoffs. Now that RB DeAngelo Williams is expected to miss Wild Card Weekend, additional emphasis will be placed on Pittsburgh's pass attack, and Brown will be asked to go carry an even heavier workload.

WR - DeSean Jackson - Washington Redskins - $4,500

Similarly to Eddie Lacy, DeSean Jackson's upside is impossible to ignore for just $4,500. In a contest that will be much higher-scoring than the masses anticipate, fire up Jackson expecting to get your money's worth.

WR - James Jones - Green Bay Packers - $4,100

I'm not sold on any single Green Bay Packers wide receiver in this one, as Aaron Rodgers seems to heavily feature a different guy each week. However, James Jones has two touchdown potential in any game, and he should see a fair share of targets. For his price, the reward far outweighs the risk.

TE - Jordan Reed - Washington Redskins - $6,300

Jordan Reed's been Kirk Cousins' go-to guy all season, and the playoffs will be no exception to the rule. Reed is a tad pricey, but he's worth the extra cap.

FLEX - Tyler Eifert - Cincinnati Bengals - $5,000

The goal of this lineup has been to get as many players with proven track records as possible into the mix. Obviously, Tyler Eifert is more familiar with Andy Dalton, but his role in Cincinnati's offense doesn't change under the AJ McCarron administration. Against Pittsburgh's 25th ranked tight end defense, fire up Eifert expecting a solid stat line.

DST - Kansas City Chiefs - $4,000

Feel free to switch to Seattle if your heart desires, but I'm taking the Kansas City Chiefs at DST. Without a running game that commands a ton of attention, Houston doesn't project to do much in the pass attack against Kansas City's seemingly impregnable defense. This Chiefs unit averaged the most fantasy points per game (11.3) of any on the slate, and they shouldn't have an incredibly difficult time finishing in double-digits once again.
