It’s another Big Wednesday so let’s build that perfect NBA lineup and win big.
(PG) Kemba Walker - Charlotte Hornets - $8,600
Kemba Walker went ballistic in his last game by scoring a ridiculous 75.8 fantasy points. I don't expect such an insane number from him tonight, but he does have a good matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are ranked 22nd against opposing PGs this season and I expect Walker to continue scoring and finish with 40-plus.
(PG) Ish Smith - Philadelphia 76ers - $7,200
Ish Smith has quickly become one of my favorite PGs in the NBA and I love his matchup against the Orlando Magic tonight. Orlando is a below-average team when it comes to defending PGs and I expect Smith to take advantage of that. He will need to score 36 in order to make value and I can see him hitting that mark.
(SG) Louis Williams - Los Angeles Lakers - $5,800
In his last game against the Sacramento Kings, "Sweet" Lou Williams scored 26.5 fantasy points in a heartbreaking loss. He will have his chance to get revenge tonight and I like his chances. The Kings are ranked 29th against opposing backcourt players and it bodes well for a combo guard like Williams to score at least 28.
(SG) Evan Fournier - Orlando Magic - $4,800
Victor Oladipo has been ruled out and this means good things for Evan Fournier. He played well in his last game against the Philadelphia 76ers and I feel that he can do it again tonight. The 76ers are ranked 23rd in defensive efficiency against opposing SGs and they're ranked dead last in that regard over their last three games. Fourner will score 24-plus.
(SF) Gordon Hayward - Utah Jazz - $8,100
Over his last four games, Gordon Hayward is averaging 42 points and he has a good chance to score a similar number tonight. He will be facing the New York Knicks and they're currently ranked 23rd against opposing SFs. He scored 36.3 fantasy points in their last encounter, but I feel that he will beat that score with 40-plus.
(SF) Tobias Harris - Orlando Magic - $5,600
Over his last four games, Tobias Harris is averaging 28.8 fantasy points. This means that he's been making value during that span and now he gets to face the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. The 76ers are the worst team in the league against opposing SFs and this bodes well for Harris to score at least 28 with 35-plus potential.
(PF) Taj Gibson - Chicago Bulls - $4,900
With Joakim Noah out for 4-6 months, Taj Gibson will reclaim his role as starting PF. This means that he should see 30-plus minutes for the rest of the season and it bodes well for his matchup against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are currently ranked 27th against opposing PFs. This should lead to Gibson scoring 25-plus.
(PF) Trey Lyles - Utah Jazz - $4,300
Derrick Favors will most likely not play tonight and this means that Trey Lyles should start again. He has been one of my favorite value plays lately and as averaged 27.7 fantasy points over his last three games. He will play the New York Knicks tonight and they're ranked 28th against PFs over their last three games. Lyles should score 23-plus.
(C) DeMarcus Cousins - Sacramento Kings - $10,700
In his last game against the Los Angeles Lakers, DeMarcus Cousins scored an outstanding 52.5 fantasy points and he has a great chance to score a similar number tonight. The Lakers are currently ranked dead last against opposing centers and this bodes well for Boogie to score 50-plus and maybe flirt with 60-plus.
