If you played yesterday’s lineup, then you would have noticed that it didn’t cash despite scoring 288.3 points. It’s a bit ironic since it scored higher than Monday’s lineup, yet Monday’s lineup was a winner in 50/50s. Chalk it up to being another crazy and volatile night in the world of daily fantasy sports. In any case, today is a new day and there are nine games for tonight’s slate. With that being said, let’s redeem last night’s disappointment by building the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup for March 16.
(PG) John Wall - Washington Wizards - $9,400

Over his last five games, John Wall is averaging 43.3 fantasy points and he draws a great matchup against the Chicago Bulls tonight. It's a home game for Wall and he's known to perform better in that scenario. Additionally, Chicago is ranked 25th against opposing PGs during this month. All of this bodes well for Wall to score 45-55 fantasy points.

(PG) Jrue Holiday - New Orleans Pelicans - $7,800

Although he is listed as a PG, Jrue Holiday actually plays more at the SG position. This is important to know since he faces the Sacramento Kings tonight and they don't defend SGs well. As a matter of fact, the Kings are ranked 23rd against opposing SGs this month in terms of fantasy points given up. This bodes well for Holiday to score at least 35 with 45-plus upside.

(SG) Klay Thompson - Golden State Warriors - $6,900

As they continue to chase history, I feel it's necessary to have a little bit of exposure for the Golden State Warriors on any night they play. My Warrior of choice for tonight is Klay Thompson, especially since he costs less than $7,000. He will face the New York Knicks and their exploitable defense against SGs. This should lead to Thompson scoring 30-plus even if the game ends up being a blowout.

(SG) Tony Allen - Memphis Grizzlies - $4,500

The Memphis Grizzlies are dealing with a plethora of injuries and it opens up some value on their roster. One of those value players is Tony Allen and I like his matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. Minnesota is giving up the third-most steals per game to SGs this month and that plays into a strength of Allen. He should be able to score between 20 and 30 fantasy points.

(SF) Kevin Durant - Oklahoma City Thunder - $10,300

There are several high-priced studs tonight like Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis. However, I've decided to roll with Kevin Durant against the Boston Celtics. Between himself and Westbrook, Durant has the easier matchup at his position and he's scored under 50 fantasy points in his last three games. I feel that he will get back to scoring 50-plus starting with tonight's game.

(SF) Otto Porter - Washington Wizards - $4,400

After going through a five-game fantasy hibernation, Otto Porter seems to be awake lately. He is averaging 30.8 fantasy points over his last two games and gets to face the Chicago Bulls tonight. The Bulls have given up the fifth-most fantasy points to SFs this month and it bodes well for Porter to score 22-plus. Let's hope that he stays awake for this contest.

(PF) Tobias Harris - Detroit Pistons - $5,800
Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports
Although Tobias Harris was a major disappointment in his last game with only 11.2 fantasy points, he has been very consistent over his last 10. I expect him to have a bounce-back game against the Atlanta Hawks tonight as they've been struggling to defend PGs this month. Harris needs to score 29 in order to make value and I can see him scoring that with the possibility for more.

(PF) Ryan Anderson - New Orleans Pelicans - $5,600

The New Orleans Pelicans face the Sacramento Kings tonight and it's a good spot for New Orleans' PFs. It's a no-brainer that Anthony Davis makes for a great play in this game, but I've decided to get my Pelicans exposure with Ryan Anderson. He scored 30.2 fantasy points against them in their last matchup and I can see him scoring 30-plus again tonight.

(C) Enes Kanter - Oklahoma City Thunder - $5,200

Enes Kanter worries me at times due to inconsistent minutes, but he's been playing well lately. He is averaging 31.4 fantasy points over his last five games and draws a matchup against the Boston Celtics tonight. Boston is notoriously bad at defending big men and I can see Kanter taking advantage of that fact. He should score at least 25 with 30-plus upside.
