If you follow the blog “Puck Daddy” at all, you know that hockey fans easily commit more jersey fouls than any other sport out there, save maybe the NFL.
That trend continued when a Buffalo Sabres fan decided to troll the New York Rangers and their fans at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, with this attempt at a Tim Tebow Sabres jersey
According to the article, the fan is not only a Sabres fan, but also a Buffalo Bills fan, who was hoping to troll the New York Jets fans in attendance at Friday’s Sabres-Rangers tilt.
The Jets acquired Tebow, offically on Friday, from the Denver Broncos after the Broncos signed Peyton Manning to a shiny new contract, with the Jets giving a whole new meaning to the word “circus”.
Of course, it would actually be the Sabres who did most of the trolling in this one, as the Sabres took home the 4-1 win over the first place Blueshirts, which was a big two points for a team trying to force their way into the playoffs at the last second, while the Rangers just try and keep the Pittsburgh Penguins off of their collective backs.
But, as Wyshynski points out, aren’t most Ranger fans New York Giants fans, anyway? I’m sure they enjoyed the fans mockery of their AFC rivals.
