The Golden State Warriors decided to celebrate Chris Mullin’s induction into the hall of fame by retiring his number. This is a good move by the Warriors, Chris Mullin deserves this. After Chris leaving on a sour note this is a nice way to get him back into the arena. Plus anyone with his numbers should have their jersey retired.
The only downside is that ceremony is supposed to take place January 20th before the Indiana Pacers game. With the season looking very bleak it seems as if Chris might have to wait a full year to get his ceremony. Unless they decide to do it without the game. Personally, I think they should wait to do it in front of packed house at the oracle.
Can’t wait to see number 17 resting in the rafters in Oakland. I am going to try to get to that ceremony because who knows when the Warriors will have a chance to retire another player’s number.
