      [...] The Indiana Pacers won a NBA league-high sixth game in a row on Tuesday night, by defeating the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers are fighting for their playoff lives, barely hanging on to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff standings. Philadelphia is scrapping for the final playoff spot in the East, battling at the bottom, with the Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks. Indiana is holding tight near the top of the conference, and is trying to lock up the third seed in the Eastern playoffs. Although the Pacers are several spots in front of the 76ers, Bucks, and Knicks, they have a lot of influence in the final Eastern Conference playoff standings. [...]
