Jacksonville Jaguars Expect To Get Mike Thomas Back Against Titans
The Jacksonville Jaguars are hoping to get back one of their top receiving targets on Saturday when they travel to Nashville to take on the division rival Tennessee Titans.
The team reported on Thursday that wide receiver Mike Thomas passed his concussion test and was cleared to return to practice for the first time since he left the Buccaneers game.
Thomas leads the Jaguars with 40 catches this season and the team hopes he will be ready to play this weekend.
In other news, undrafted rookie offensive tackle Cameron Bradfield may get a chance to start at right tackle for the injured Guy Whimper. Bradfield was impressive earlier in the season when he started a left tackle on the road against the Steelers. If Bradfield can play as well on the right side of the line as he did on the left he would be a massive upgrade over Whimper, who has been the weakest link on the Jaguars offensive front all season.
In addition to Whimper, the Jaguars expect to be without wide receiver Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and safety Dwight Lowery (shoulder) on Saturday.
