Then Colletti signs someone that’s overlooked to be a utility player, and the guy outperforms his contract (Carroll, Miles, etc).
So with Mark Ellis having a pretty bad injury history and Kennedy a career of performing for good teams, Kennedy will become a more valuable piece to the Dodgers than Ellis, heck there’s a good chance Kennedy plays more at second than Ellis this season.
