Miami defense should be humbled

That was ugly. Embarrassing. Down right disappointing.

On national television, the Miami Dolphins let Tom Brady and the rival Pats run wild on a record setting night.

Here’s this week’s highlights and lowlights:

Highlights – The Dolphins offense under new coordinator Brian Daboll looked, well, impressive. Chad Henne killed the ‘Fins not once, but twice. He did make some good throws, and found Reggie Bush probably as much as he was supposed to. But two deep drives led to just three points. An inside rushing game and accuracy deep are key. Why did Henne not throw a fade, but rather two straight curl routes, to Brandon Marshall. He made a great jump catch earlier in the game. I am trying to pick up Reggie Bush in my fantasy leagues. He is getting fed in 2011.

Lowlights – Miami might as well have let Northwest Dade High suit up on defense, cause nobody else did. Cameron Wake got a huge sack at the end of the first half, but he was owned by a rookie for a majority of the game. Jason Taylor, Koa Misi and Karlos Dansby were supposed to help Wake out, but they were no-shows. Sean Smith, Vontae Davis and Reshad Jones were running all over the field chasing Patriots. Nolan—don’t even get me started on the nickel back. That should be a transaction made right now. The secondary was awful, and plays the Texans this week.
