Dwayne Wade missed last night’s thumping of the Indiana Pacers due to a lingering foot injury suffered last week in Minnesota. The Heat operated just fine in Wade’s absence with LeBron James (33 points, 13 assists) leading the team to a 118-83 win. Now the bade news, James suffered a twisted ankle late in last night’s game. The Heat are set to play the Atlanta Hawks tonight in a rematch of Monday’s contest in which Atlanta handed Miami their first loss of the season. James and Wade are both considered questionable for tonight’s game. If the two superstars sit out the Heat will look to bench players James Jones, Norris Cole and Shane battier to provide a scoring punch. Battier, signed shortly before the start of the season, has struggled in the early going and is averaging just 2.7 ppg on a dismal 26% shooting.
