Kansas City Royals’ Yordano Ventura Pays Tribute To Late Friend Oscar Taveras
Everybody in the baseball world is feeling the loss of Oscar Taveras. One person in particular is Kansas City Royals rookie pitcher and World Series Game 6 starter, Yordano Ventura. The 23-year old was friends with Taveras, and you can only imagine what’s going on in his mind as he pitches in the biggest game of his life.
Ventura paid tribute to his late friend with a handwritten message on his hat for Game 6 (RIP O.T. #18):
