St. Louis Cardinals Leave Right Field Lights on in Memory of Oscar Taveras
The St. Louis Cardinals are still reeling from the death of top prospect Oscar Taveras. The 22-year old tragically lost his life on Sunday in an auto accident, and it’s safe to say that it will take quite some time for the pain and shock to go away. Incidents like Taveras’ death are certainly reminders that baseball is just a game.
To honor their fallen teammate, the Cardinals are leaving the right field lights in Busch Stadium on.

In addition, a moment of silence will be held before Game 6 of the World Series in memory of Taveras and his girlfriend, who also tragically passed away in the accident.
