The Atlanta Braves finished the 2014 season with the 5th best ERA in baseball with 3.38 and first in quality starts with 110. With the loss of Ervin Santana and Aaron Harang now a free agent, the Braves will have a couple new faces in their rotation for the 2015 season. Take a look to see how the Braves starting 5 rotation projects for 2015.

Hale has been a member of the Braves for a few years now and has made his share of starts including last season. Hale was the long reliever in the Braves' bullpen last year, but always projected as a starter. If Gavin Floyd is not ready or Aaron Harang does not resign, expect Hale to start out as the No. 5 starter in the rotation.

4. Mike Minor

Last season is a year Minor would like to forget. He went 6-12 and posted a 4.77 ERA which is the worst of his career thus far. He will look to have a bounce back season as he is more than capable of being a top-notch starter for the Braves. When he's on, he's virtually unhittable. The Braves are hoping that Minor shows up more often this year.

3. Shelby Miller

Miller comes to Atlanta as a part of the Jason Heyward trade to the St. Louis Cardinals. With Santana departing, Miller is a young pitcher who adds to an already young rotation. He's a quality pitcher whose won 26 total games the last two seasons. He will be the No. 3 starter in this rotation.

2. Alex Wood

If you have not seen Alex Wood pitch you are missing out on a treat. This southpaw has as funky of a delivery as you'll ever see, but his command of all of his pitches is what is most impressive. The former Georgia Bulldog finished 2014 with a 2.78 ERA and 170 SO in 171.2 innings.

Tehran is the unquestioned ace of this rotation. He has finally learned how to pitch on the major league level and has lived up to the hype of being a top prospect with an All-Star appearance last season. Tehran will once again be the opening day starter for the Braves April 6th in Miami.
