Remember the flurry of moves at the winter meetings this season? Players were switching teams like a game of musical chairs. That could happen again next offseason. These 10 MLB stars and rising stars will be free agents in 2017, meaning they could be traded next offseason with just one year left on their contracts.

It's hard to find a good hitting catcher nowadays, so any team looking for one will be sure to ask about Ramos next offseason. With potentially big changes coming to the Nationals in the future, moving Ramos could fit into their plans. A contender is going to be very happy if they can land him and his bat.

Nova is really starting to come into his own for the Yankees and he could be a solid piece for a near contender to deal for. On a contender, he could be a very good No. 3 starter and that will make him very attractive next offseason.

Wilson has already been made available by the Angels in the past, so it makes sense the Angels could try to trade him next offseason if they haven't done so already. With just one year remaining on his deal, the Angels are likely to lower their asking price for Wilson, making a deal more likely to get done.

Jay isn't a star quite yet, but he's exactly the type of player contenders target at the trade deadline and in the offseason. While the Cardinals aren't a team that normally sells talent, they will deal Jay if they think they can get a fair return of prospects.

Beltre could become a free agent as early as next offseason if he doesn't record at least 586 plate appearances. If he plays enough to reach that number, though, his million vesting option will kick in. That will make him a free agent in 2017 and the Rangers are likely to move him next offseason if they can.

Trumbo was just acquired by the Diamondbacks last offseason, but they could already be trying to get rid of him for prospects. He still hits for a lot of power even though he had a down year in 2014. That means contenders are going to be trying to acquire him if they think he's the missing piece on their offense.

Cashner has really taken off the past two seasons. He's bordering on an ace and could be a very good No. 2 pitcher for a contender that deals for him. Depending on how the Padres are doing, they could hold onto him for the 2016 season if they think they can compete for a title. If they don't think they can re-sign him, they may ship him to the highest bidder.

The Brewers' catcher had a breakout season last year and was actually in the MVP discussion. He had some of the best offensive numbers of any backstop, so if the Brewers deal him, they will get a ton in return. Since Milwaukee has a depleted farm system, they may be served well getting as much as they can for him, especially if he has another stellar season.

Alvarez was already rumored to be on the move this offseason, but he was never dealt. With so much hitting talent in Pittsburgh, the Pirates are running out of spots to put people. As even more players make their way to Pittsburgh, Alvarez could be made expendable. Next offseason would be the best time for them to move their power hitting infielder.

The Reds' flame throwing lefty closer could be on the move next offseason. Cincinnati already asked around about the lefty this offseason, but didn't move him. For a team that feels they're one bullpen arm away from contending, it may be worth trading several prospects for the shutdown closer.
