The White Sox endured a roller coaster of a season which resulted with a 76-86 record in 2015. In order to become a better teams, their roster will need to be tinkered with. Here are five players that should be sent packing in the offseason.

While White Sox's offense struggled, their pitching was much better. Danks posted a miserable 7-15 record with a 4.71 ERA in 2015. This year's free agency class has numerous arms that could fill Danks role as the No. 5 starter in the rotation.

Soto has struggled to be a productive catcher offensively since his rookie year in 2008. Last year Soto failed to hit .250 as hit hit .219 with 9 HRs and 21 RBIs 78 games in 2015. With their offense struggling, the White Sox need to make upgrades at almost every position and Soto could be replaced with one of the numerous backup catchers available in free agency this offseason.

3. Jeff Samardzija

Samardzija put up an unimpressive stat line in 2015 as he posted a 11-13 record with a 4.95 ERA. The White Sox need an arm that can perform as a true No. 2 pitcher behind Chris Sale. There are plenty of arms that will be available via free agency that are better than Samardzija. Cutting ties with him will save them money as well as put them in better position to acquire an upgrade for their starting rotation.

2. Andy LaRoche

LaRoche enjoyed a lot of success during his stint with the Nationals, however that never translated over to this past season with the White Sox. In 127 games, he hit a low .207 with 12 HRs and 44 RBIs. The White Sox's offense was spotty all season and LaRoche's inability to hit well consistently was a big reason for the offense's woes. Cutting LaRoche loose would help the White Sox's offense and wallet.

To say Beckham has struggled over the past two seasons would be an understatement. He failed to hit .230 this season or the season before. This has resulted in limited production (16 HRs 66 RBIs) over these seasons. The White Sox need to revamp their offense in order to be a winning team and Beckham needs to be shown the door in order for them to achieve success in the future.
