The last seven months for Adam LaRoche have been rather insane. In November, he and Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Blaine Boyer took a trip to Southeast Asia through a non-profit called Exodus Road to help rescue underage sex slaves and do some undercover work in brothels suspected of sex trafficking.
In March, LaRoche walked away from a $13 million contract with the Chicago White Sox because executive vice president Kenny Williams reneged on his commitment to allow LaRoche’s son Drake to be around in the clubhouse.
Now, it seems LaRoche is headed to Mexico to take down drug dealers.
Had dinner with @e3laroche last night. He’s on his way to Mexico to bust drug dealers.. #America…..And no, Drake isn’t going.

It seems a bit counterproductive that Haren is announcing LaRoche’s arrival, nevertheless, what a brave and noble thing for LaRoche to volunteer for. Good for him.
