Tim Lincecum made his debut with the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday after a long recovery from hip surgery. ‘The Freak’ tossed six solid innings, giving up just one earned run over four hits with two strikeouts. His first strikeout victim was Oakland Athletics outfielder Danny Valencia, who was fooled by a devastating changeup.
So far, so good for #TheFreak.

I don’t think anyone expects Lincecum to return to the Cy Young form he showcased for the San Francisco Giants earlier in his career. However, at 32 years old, there’s reason to believe he has something left in the tank and can help the pitching-starved Angels in 2016, and possibly beyond.
