New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks pulled a fast one on Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Tommy Joseph on Friday.
Phillies pitcher Jeremy Hellickson had Hicks dead-to-rights with his stellar pickoff move, but Hicks was able to trick Joseph into thinking he already made it back to the bag, and Joseph didn’t bother trying to apply a tag until it was too late.
Even though this happened in a Spring Training game, Joseph will likely never hear the end of it from his teammates, coaches, and even family alike…
