The Atlanta Braves unveiled their new stadium on Friday night in front of a sold out crowd, and the many fans who filled SunTrust Park got to see a legend on hand for the building’s christening.
Hank Aaron threw out the first pitch at the Braves’ new digs and received a much-deserved ovation.

Other Braves legends like Tom Glavine and John Smoltz were also on hand for the first game at the new stadium, and the Braves even scored a win to break the new place in with style.
It’s always nice to see greats of the game step back onto an MLB field and receive the type of adulation they deserve.
