The Miami Marlins are playing a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners in Seattle currently, which means Mariners legend and current Marlin Ichiro Suzuki is a hot topic of conversation.
At 43 years old, it’s entirely possible that the Japanese outfielder will retire at the conclusion of the 2017 MLB season.
If that’s indeed the case, this is Ichiro’s last trip to Seattle as an active player, which must be emotional considering the countless memories he made in the Emerald City.
Knowing this, the Mariners decided to make it ‘Ichiro Bobblehead Night’ to honor their former superstar.
Such a cool day at the ballpark! Thanks for the #Ichiro bobblehead @Mariners ! 6 of 7 wins! Let's go! pic.twitter.com/dLVty2ubxA

In the ninth-inning, Ichiro shocked the masses by hitting a rare home run, which could easily be the last one hits in MLB. It’s most definitely the last dinger he will ever clobber at Safeco Field.
In what’s probably Ichiro’s final at-bat in Seattle, he hit a home run. pic.twitter.com/rP4Yty0m00

Have a day, Ichiro!
