The Washington Nationals have a number of talented players who simply don’t get the credit they deserve because the franchise lacks national (no pun intended) appeal and exposure.
But make no mistake, Nationals shortstop Trea Turner is one of MLB‘s premier players under the age of 25.

On Tuesday night in the thin Denver air, Turner, 23, flexed some of his offensive prowess by hitting for the second cycle in MLB this season against the Colorado Rockies.

Turner became only the third player to hit for the cycle in a Nationals uniform, and ninth to do so in franchise history when including the organization’s past as the Montreal Expos.
After playing mainly in the outfield last season, Turner is back to his natural spot at shortstop in 2017, and projects to stay there.
He’s a five-tool player who could easily win an MVP award if he continues to blossom into his immense potential.
