More often than not, Minnesota Twins players fly under the radar of most MLB fans, as the franchise simply doesn’t have much of a national profile.
This is undoubtedly the case for Miguel Sano, who truly has a chance to become one of baseball’s premier offensive juggernauts.
Miguel Sano currently on pace for: 175 hits, 130 walks, 136 runs, 52 homers, 175 RBI. https://t.co/MRi7kNXCoh Decent start to the season.

On Tuesday, Sano clobbered his 8th home run off the season off Oakland A’s pitcher Sonny Gray. The ball traveled an estimated 466-feet, and unfortunately nailed a woman who was dining at a Target Field restaurant directly in the face.

@1500ESPNJudd I was sitting 3 feet from her. It didn’t bounce. Went right through 🙌🏻 and struck her jaw. She went for X-Rays and her Son came back (cont)

Thankfully, Twins communications director Dustin Morse reported the organization had been in touch with the woman, and found out she didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
The @Twins connected with fan who was struck by the Miguel Sano HR ball last night. She reported being a bit sore, but no serious injuries.

Sano, 23, sent condolences, and told reporters he got jammed on the pitch, which is a scary thought.
Miguel Sano said he was sorry to see his home run hit a woman.
Also said he was jammed “a little” on it.
Miguel is a delight, guys.
