There was once a game show on Nickelodeon featuring teams of kids who would go inside of video games and participate in interactive quests in order to win prizes.

Nick Arcade may be prehistoric by today’s technological standards, but the Super Mario game put up on the Memphis Redbirds‘ outfield wall is far from dated.

This Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals has the perfect attraction for those who grew up playing the Mario games nonstop.

What’s old is now new again with this terrific outfield invention, and it needs to become a staple at ballparks throughout MLB.
