Tempers flared during Miami Marlins vs. Los Angeles Dodgers at Chavez Ravine on Friday night.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Dodgers outfielder Brett Eibner was seemingly drilled on purpose by Marlins reliever A.J. Ramos, who claimed innocence when discussing the incident with reporters after the game.

The Dodgers took a seven-run lead into the ninth inning. Knowing he was pitching with such a big lead, Dodgers pitcher Ross Stripling decided to throw behind Giancarlo Stanton, which led to a rather intense dust up that saw a lot of pushing and shoving after both benches cleared.

Mattingly, Stripling, and Dodgers manager Bob Geren were subsequently ejected.
“When Geren is out there yelling at my guy, he’s going to have to go through me,” Mattingly told reporters. “If the players are yelling at each other, that’s one thing, but when he’s going to start yelling at guys, that’s a whole other thing.”
Suspensions are not expected to be handed down by MLB.
