The idea of “making it look easy” certainly applied for Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado on Friday night.
A rocket hit by Yadier Molina looked like a sure base knock, but Arenado was alert as ever, despite his less than animated response after making this catch.
Nonchalant Nolan.
The St. Louis Cardinals catcher probably had a hard time believing that anyone could make a catch like that and then so lazily lob the ball over to first afterwards.
Nevertheless, Arenado made this stop look so simple that it’s a wonder he wasn’t taking a nap the next time the camera panned his way.
