Most professional athletes prefer to ignore fans rather than let them into their lives, but Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier doesn’t subscribe to that belief.
Check out this amazing footage of him playing catch with some kids in the stands – and fans of the road team, mind you – before the game with the Los Angeles Angels got started.
These kids are now @briandozier fans for life! #PlayBall
Fortunately, MLB players have shown countless examples of their willingness to embrace young fans in the seats all over the country this season.
That’s the way to build a strong, longer-lasting fanbase, and this current batch of big leaguers are showing an awareness of this fact.
